Healing Naturally.

You know that I am a big fan of holistic healing even though I am a pharmacist myself. I always start recommending the natural solutions first. Any patient with Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis, IBS, IBD, Celiac disease and other digestive problems should know that they need to contribute to their own healing process.

Listen to these singing bowls on my page Healing Center. These sounds should give your mind some signals that heal the body. Yes, it’s better to be there. But if you don’t live in France like me, listening to this video will do.

I’m just wondering what supplements you take in addition to your meds? I have found that L-Glutemine has been a big help in keeping inflammation down for me. Have you seen any research done on this? I was diagnosed 4 1/2 years ago and have had a resection (2 yrs ago) and a complication last Nov. with an adhesion that sent me into surgery again. Apparantly, it was not caused by the crohn’s but from complications from the previous surgery. I feel great as long as I’m getting enough rest, exercise and my diet is good. I use other natural remedies to help my health and am always looking to see what others are doing. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your comment. I’m always so happy to hear that other Crohn’s patients realize the importance of rest, diet and exercise.

Amino acid supplement is not a bad idea for Crohns inflammation as an adjunct.

Well, I take many different supplements. Some of the examples: Wobenzym M, Green Supplements by Garden of Life, Immune 26, Immunocal, Multivitamins with minerals, extra C, amino acids, selenium, magnesium, probiotics, digestive enzymes, b-12, vit D lamps, omega 3s and others. Not all supplements at the same time ofcourse.

      I hope you stay well.
